Happy 4th!
Happy Fourth of July! It's funny and a little ironic that I begin my post with that, because I refused to say it all day yesterday. I'll repeat most anything Mommy or Daddy or Grandpa or Gigi or Pops or Grammy or Grampa Billy says, but I would not say "Happy Fourth of July," "Happy Fourth," "Happy July Fourth," or "Happy Independence Day." My Daddy is sure it has nothing to do with my patriotism; it was just a funny game I played! I had a great day! I woke up and helped Mommy and Daddy get packed up, then we loaded in the car and made the drive from San Antonio to San Marcos. We picked up Grandpa and Gigi and drove to Martindale for the July 4th parade. I loved it! First I got to visit with the Roberts family, and then Gigi gave me a flag to wave during the parade. I saw a police car, fire trucks, old cars, horses, kids on bikes, and trailers. And they all threw candy!!! I loved waving my flag and waving hello to everybody who came by! ...
