Witte Museum

Image
Gigi and Grandpa came over the other day to take Emily on a playdate.  Can I tell you how much I love Gigi and Grandpa.?.!.  I love that they want to be with my kids, take them to do fun things, and want to give me a break!  Anyways, the Witte Museum was having a dinosaur exhibit.  We didn't know if Emily would be a fan, but appearently, she loved it!  They went in the morning, then left for lunch, then headed back to see it again!  Here are some pictures that Gigi, Grandpa, and Emily took from their playdate!

Spinkler Time!

Thanks to Mandy for bringing over the coolest sprinkler ever!  Emily loves the Toy Story rocket!  My nephew Drew was in town...he was a little hesitant at first, but obviously changed his mind! ;)

Puzzles and a Tower...

Image
Emily is really fantastic at puzzles.  She got these 2 puzzles from Elena and Evan and she had finished them both before we knew it! I love watching her think, put them together, and then see her face when that last piece goes in!

A Few Pool Pics

Image
I wish I had more pictures from the pool this summer, but here a few.  Emily had a great summer at the pool...going under the water (happily), letting us let go of her in the water, wanting to wear her goggles, etc.  Grant enjoyed the water too.  He liked being in his float, being held, and thrown up in the air. Hmmm...next summer could be tricky with 3...

Thank you, Grammy and Grandpa Billy!

While we were away in the Bahamas, Grammy and Grandpa Billy kept our kiddos...with some help from Aunt Jenny and Aunt Betsy!  I knew they were in great hands and it was reassuring that Emily was having so much fun that she hardly wanted to talk to us on the phone when we called!  I really, really, really appreciate eveyone that helped loved on my kids.  Emily took this picture the night we got home.  How cute is this picture?!?

Oh, the Wonderful Bahamas...

Image
Clay, Carol, Lindsey, Josh, Seth and I went to the Bahamas July 6-11.  We went to the Great Exuma island and stayed at the Sandals Emerald Bay.  Oh my...it was wonderful.  I can't say enough about the trip.  We stayed for 5 nights...I hadn't been away from the kids for 5 nights...ever!  I missed them terribly, but I knew they were in good hands with Grammy and Grandpa Billy.  (More on that later).  I was super nervous when we flew in...we were flying over the littlest island and I didn't see much sign of life...and being pregnant, I was a little worried.  We landed on what seemed like a little street and then proceeed to their "airport" which was really just a little yellow house. ;)  (The nervousness continued).  Before I knew it, we were in a cab (I was in the front and Seth was in the back with a newlywed couple) and we were driving to the resort.  I didn't see much to speak of as we drove down the road.  (The nervousne...
