Christmas in San Marcos

Image
From Dallas, we headed home for a night to regroup and repack and then we headed to San Marcos.  On Christmas Eve we went to Gran's house to eat tamales and open presents. Then we had a great time on Christmas day.  We celebrated Jesus in the morning and Carol/Gigi in the afternoon!  "Santa" brought Emily a new princess bike and Grant a Radio Flyer rock and bounce pony.  Emily got to enjoy one of Daddy's presents from Aunt Lindsey...Count Chocula cereal! ;) Grant's present from Emily! Mimi and Grant making phone calls!   Emily learning to ride her new bike! Uncle Josh played lots of Elefun and Hungry Hungry Hippo!   Aunt Lindsey snuggles! Family pics!             Uncle Bill The completed 2nd annual gingerbread house! I thought this was a cute picture!   It was a great Christmas.  Emily certainly loved the presents, but she also really seemed to understand the true meaning of Christmas.  My prayer is Emil...

Christmas in Dallas

Image
We went to Dallas before Christmas to celebrate with my family.  First we headed to Pops and Nana Karen's house.  This was our first time to stay with them.  The kids did great.  I am not so sure that Gabe loved having us there... Here are a few pictures from there house... Emily and I got new bracelets for Christmas!!! Then we headed off to Grammy and Grandpa Billy's house for a few days.  We saw Santa Claus at Northpark. Emily would say "Got it!" as she took pictures of EVERYTHING around the house. It was a busy trip, but so good to see everyone.  Emily's highlights were getting her charm bracelet, "bidio game", Snow White costume, camera, and baby carrier.

Jumperoo Memories...

Image
Seeing our little man in the jumperoo brings back so many memories of Emily in the jumperoo.  I really can't believe it has been 3 years since she was jumping.  I love this toy... Emily with some hair... Grant with a lot of hair!

Wonderful Quotes by Emily

#1.  Scene:  I am in my bedroom pumping.  Emily is eating a snack at the kitchen table and Grant is playing in his exersaucer.  Emily comes back to my bedroom and closes the door.  I say "Emily, please leave the door open.  I want to be able to hear you and Grant."  Emily says "Mommy, I don't like funny things...and that breast pumper is funny." (Oh, you should have seen her face.  She had quite a disgusted look on it!)  I say, "Well, you can't see the "breast pumper" when you are at the kitchen table."  Emily: "But I can still hear it." #2.  Scene:  Daddy is in Emily's bathroom helping her get ready for bed. Emily says "Daddy, I don't want you to help me because you're just wearing an undershirt."  Daddy says, "What is wrong with undershirts?"  Emily: "They are just white and plain." #3.  Scene:  Several different locations over the last few weeks.  When Emily or another...
