Hi and Bye!
Hi Everyone...please forgive me for not writing in so long! I have been pretty busy...my social calendar has been pretty full!

I have had some really fun playdates lately! I have had 2 with my friend, Wesley. Her Mama, Whitney, brought her to my house the last 2 Fridays and we have a good time! The first time, Wesley and I both really liked playing with the same toys...my new piggy bank and my baby. Mama has been trying to teach me how to share my toys, but I don't know if I like this "sharing" thing. I don't really like to let other people have my things so I try to take them back. Mama says we will keep working on it...maybe one day I will understand. Cyndy brought Mackenzie and Caleb over to play with Wesley and me last Friday. We had a blast. I did better with sharing my toys, but
maybe its because Wesley and I chose to play with different toys this time. Will and I got a chance to play together the last couple of weeks too! He is trying to teach me how to crawl up the stairs and slide down the stairs on my belly. Looks like fun! I can tell Mama is nervous about it! He is already walking. Maybe he can teach me that cool trick too!

So, I really have discovered what this waving thing is all about. I wave "hi" and "bye" to everyone and everything! Airplanes (more about those in a second), toys, sippy cups, dolls, books, my blanket, puppies...you get the point! I don't get sad about not being able to take my blanket out of my room, because now I just wave bye-bye to it and tell it I'll see you at my next nap! Everywhere I go, whether it is the grocery store or Subway, I wave to the moving things I see...people, cars, birds, flags... Make sure you vote in my poll (on the right)!
Airplanes! Wow! I really love to watch them go! We must live close to an airport, because they are always flying over my house! I can even hear them inside my house and I look towards the window hoping I will catch a glance! They other night in my bath, Mama was reading me a book and she said the word "airplane" and I looked up from my tub and was sad because I didn't see one flying overhead...If I had seen one, I would have waved...

Mama and Dada ask me where some of my body parts are and I love to point them out! They tell me I am pretty smart! I can find my hair, ear, tongue, belly button, and toes! Oh, I can also find all those parts on Mama and Dada too! They keep asking me to find my "nose" and I don't have a clue what they are talking about!
Eskimo kisses are pretty great too. Mama has been teaching me how to give those kind of kisses when she gives me a bath. I love to stick my face up to hers and feel her wiggle her nose back and forth against mine! It tickles!!!
Another good time at Sunday school! This time, instead of crawling on my knees and pushing the walker toy, I stood and pushed it around! It won't be long until I can walk like Will!
Well, there is my wrap up of the last few weeks! More to come next week!
I love you,
Emmy
P.S. I had a "bad hair day" recently, but I actually thought I looked kinda cute!
