Stacking Rings is a Piece of Cake!
Hi, and welcome to my blog! I've been meaning to start this for 11 months or so, but am just now getting around to it (I stay pretty busy, as you'll soon see). I look forward to telling you about all the fun things I'm learning and doing everyday!

I've had a busy week! For one thing, I've learned how to stack these rings all by myself! I've been good at un-stacking them for a while, but now I can put them back on without any help! Mama or Dada (I'll call them M or D) takes them off for me, or I take them off myself, and then I can put them back on ALL BY MYSELF!
It was also really fun to have Aunt Lindsey come and visit me this weekend! She was in the area for business this past week, and came to stay with me on Friday night! We had lots of fun--she played with me, read to me, and fed me, but she didn't change any of my dirty diapers...
She also went with us to the big bathtub on Friday (M and D call it the pool, but seemed just like a big bathtub to me). It was so fun--there were kids everywhere, making lots of noise and splashing! I wasn't sure what to think at first, because it was a little cold and there was so much commotion, but I liked just hanging out in my float with M, D, and Aunt Linds and soaking it all in. I'm really excited to go to Grammy's house next week because M says she has a pool at her house and that I'll be able to play in it!
Let's see, what else? Oh yeah, I'm learning how to give high-fives. I don't really slap your hand, but I hold mine up so you can give me a high-five. I can also clap and wave!
I give kisses too... sometimes. I don't really pucker up, but when M or D says "give me a kiss" I will lean in a little, and sometimes even give open mouth kisses!! Other times, I laugh and hide my face when they try to get kisses.
And D has taught me a new sound--Indian Princess! Only I use the back of my hand instead of my palm to do the Indian noise. D says I must be from a special tribe, and I think that's a nice compliment!
Lately, I'm loving to play chase. M or D gets on their hands and knees and chases me from the living room into the kitchen and back! I love it--I laugh and squeal, then I stop and look over my shoulder to make sure they're still coming after me, then I go again! I chase them sometimes too--it's really fun when they hide behind the couch or a pillow and I can find them! Sometimes, I even like to start a good game of chase right in the middle of a diaper change!
And I think I'll leave you on that note for now! I'll post again soon!
